Rachel currently lives in Ventura, CA and graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Apparel Design.
Her work is primarily inspired by the people and places around her, especially nature and fashion. Preferring to paint in a somewhat realistic style with symbolic aspects, she has always been inspired by Frida Kahlo, Dali, and Georgia O’Keefe.
Rachel has loved painting since grade school, and became serious about it several years ago after getting numerous commissioned paintings. Rachel’s favorite part of painting is capturing the subject's personality in their expression and stance, and the joy a painting brings to those who look upon it.
